He also purchased 500 1861 Seated Halves (allegedly O-mints), planed off the design of the Federal reverse and struck the CSA reverse. This is a particularly nice coin for the grade. The CSA side is well struck with beautiful problem-free surfaces that are original with light silver-gray toning.
