These buttons were produced using OEM buttons as a guide and are designed to be glued in for a more robust fit vs. the original "melted tab" design. The quality of these buttons is far superior to any competitive button on the market. Unlike the OEM buttons, the urethane itself is dyed to match the application so even after years of use they will maintain a consistent color. Our process begins with custom drawn CAD model which is used to 3D print a raw molding core. Our competition is selling you the raw molding core! We take the molding core and add hours of hand finishing. We then use the core to produce a low volume prototype silicone mold. That mold is then used to cast the buttons by hand out of color matched urethane. The castings are hand finished one by one to ensure we are producing the highest quality parts possible! The buttons will make a great addition to any Willys with worn or broken buttons or as part of any high quality restoration project.
