Description: Here's one breath-taking Fender Telecaster Japan 52 Vintage Reissue in the iconic Butterscotch Blonde over ash body, combined with the soft V-shape maple neck and that instantly recognisable black single-ply pickguard. This Tele comes in excellent condition with just a few tiny dings on the edges of the body and the back of the neck. The figuring of the swamp ash body is simply stunning, it was definitely a good day at the factory. This one came factory-equipped with those classic Fender American Vintage '52 single-coil pickups. The neck pickup has a very full and warm sound. The bridge pickup is punchy but not nasal thanks to the mellower Alnico III magnets, so it is perfect for searing lead lines and pushing your amp into overdrive. Middle position is a crystal-clear balance of both pickups in parallel, perfect for apreggios and strumming. Comfy soft V-shape neck with gloss lacquer has the vintage-correct 7.25 inch radius and vintage frets. Truss-rod works smoothly and is adjusted at the neck heel. Original Kluson slotted tuners keep tuning stable even with active bending. Original wiring was the weak spot of this guitar, so this has all been upgraded with USA-spec components including CTS solid brass shaft pots, Orange Drop capacitor, Oak Grisby 3-way switch and full cloth-covered wiring. Infamous for always falling out mid-gig output jack cup has been upgraded with super-reliable Electrosocket. And last but not least, the bridge saddles have been upgraded with compensated design brass saddles, making spot-on intonation much easier achieved. This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body clean, neck deep clean and full electronics check. Restringed with D'addario 10-46 nickel-plated steel strings.
