Description: Please email with any questions. 9 3/4" by 7 1/2" light blue writing paper with handwritten letter dated February 1854, sent to Macon, Georgia merchants Bray & Carhart from G W Bradley in Westport, Connecticut. Bradley acknowledges receiving the merchant's payment for a previous order that accompanied an order for more knives that he will send in 3 or 4 weeks. Bradley also addresses a complaint from the merchants that the last order of knives received was not on par with previous orders and writes that he will try and send knives they will approve of and in so doing will redeem his reputation. It is signed G W Bradley. Letter in very good condition with fold lines from its original mailing.
