Description: Antique Aloha Manufacturing Co. Paradise Of The Pacific Ukulele, Made In Hawaii. Early to mid 1920's. The Tabu brand is in the soundhole, confirming the ukulele was made in Hawaii. The Tabu brand was used by several makers in Hawaii between 1916 and 1935 because many mainland manufacturers were falsely claiming their ukuleles were made in Hawaii. Classic peanut body shape. Spanish style heel joint. Golden flamed Koa. Koa is one of the most expensive woods in the world due to its limited supply and high demand. Beautiful ukulele in great condition for its age. There is a slight crack on the top left side as shown in photos. This does not come with a case. Measures 20" x 6.25". A great historical collectors piece.
