I think the top cap is brass because a magnet does not stick to it. The wires do not go into a plug, which I pictured in photo #12. This measures approximately 18 1/4” across the bottom x 8” tall. The round globe part is not in very tightly. PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT ALL 12 PICTURES AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION AND TO DETERMINE THE ACTUAL CONDITION. This comes from a smoke free home.
