Bowen, Philadelphia, 1840-44. The first octavo edition was produced under the direct supervision of John James Audubon and features strictly hand-coloring. The credits are in BLOCK LETTERS, as required, for royal octavos 1-150. Comes in a plastic protector, and will be sandwiched between wider foam boards for mailing.
