Description: This auction is for a Lot of NINE Mattel Barbie BOOKLETS: Ranging from 1993 up to 2008 Most in very-good condition. These Booklets are great for reference and show many popular dolls as well as some PROTOTYPE dolls that are very different from what actually made it to market, or were not made at all! You can see the Rappin Rockin dolls where Teresa has the STEFFIE head, Barbie has the Superstar head, and Ken has the 83 head sculpt. You can also see the Really Rad Barbie, Christie, Teresa, and Kira dolls that were highly anticipated but NEVER produced. Mattel had also planned to make a Hot Skatin Nancy Kerrigan in 1995 but dropped her for a MIDGE doll instead! The Dance Moves Barbie/Teresa/Midge looked NOTHING like the actual dolls that were produced. Purple Panic Christie & Extreme Green Skipper were originally planned wearing each other's colors! There are also lots of regular-line dolls that did make it to market of course, like Wizard of Oz, Barbie & Krissy, Generation Girls, etc. A couple of these are Fashion Avenue /Fashion Fever booklets as well. All booklets are in good condition, except the 2008 booklets has creasing on some of its upper corner pages, and 35th booklets has some wrinkles as well.
