Description: Offered here is an original unframed print of Southern California photographer, Milton Inman's print of ocean rocks off the coast of California. The print is signed by Inman on the reverse of the mat and is in very good condition. The only notable flaw is the corner chip to the upper left corner of the mat. The print is in otherwise excellent condition and ready to frame. The print was made about 1930 and has soft features and excellent tonal quality. Milton Inman (1899–1979) Born in Chicago, Illinois, Inman relocated with his family to Los Angeles the very same year. He graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) in 1920. He found work as a writer and photographer for Los Angeles newspapers, and also operated a commercial photography business. Inman was a early member of the Camera Pictorialists of Los Angeles and exhibited his photographs throughout the United States.
