Description: This is a Comp Cams hydraulic roller camshaft for Ford 385 series 429/460 engines. The part number is is 34-422-9 which is engraved in the end of the cam as shown. Please confirm your specific application. This camshaft came to me installed on a 1971 Torino factory 429 Cobra Jet engine. The car was all original/number's matching and the owner was in search of even more power. This cam was installed along with Ford Racing aluminum heads, Trick Flow rockers, headers, etc. These parts were used on the engine for a very short period of time. The owner was in search of even more power and replaced the entire drivetrain of the car with a larger displacement crate engine, race transmission, and narrowed rearend. The shop doing the work ended up with the original drivetrain as partial payment for the work and I bought the engine and transmission from them. I removed all the speed parts from the 429 Cobra Jet engine and plan to list all the parts here on Ebay. I also plan to list the original 429 4 bolt main Cobra Jet shortblock, the original Cobra Jet heads, original intake, original exhaust manifolds, pulleys, and original automatic transmission. It will take me a bit of time to get these parts listed so keep your eyes on my other listings. This cam is in very good condition as shown. As stated above, this cam has seen very little use.
