Flipping through I see no stains, rips, tears, ect although I did not check each and every page of all 13 books. Front and back covers all nice with normal, but minimal signs of age and use. These old cookbooks are full of hundreds of 60's - 70's era recipes from the food editors of McCall's. There is an index on the back of each book also.
