Named World War II US Navy WAVES Officer Uniform WWII WW2

Description: Wonderful World War II WAVES uniform coat identified to Lieutenant Commander S. D. Peabody. The uniform itself is a private purchase piece, manufactured by Visek Brothers Tailors. The tailors label inside the pocket reads "Lt. Cmdr. S.D. Peabody/1-26-45/48403". I have not been able to find anything through rudimentary internet research, but there is enough information here to find out who she was. The collars are adorned with WWII WAVES officer insignia, and correct rank on the cuffs. A very nice uniform that has been a part of my collection for the past 20 years. Scarce for sure. The coat remains in very good condition, showing signs of age, use, and wear. There is some wrinkling and would benefit from a steam pressing. Overall nice. Please see the pictures for more detail.
