Description: This is RARE with NO COPIES AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE that I can find. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A "JETSONS" BOOK, BUT THEY ARE REFERENCED DUE TO THE WAY THE ROBOT LOOKS. This is a New Old Stock, early 1960's Birthday book for a young child titledHOW DO COMPUTERS DO WHAT THEY DO?by Laurelyn Lamy Kohl and illustrated by the Katheryn Hutton. This was published and sold at a time when the public was told that computers would one day do all of a family's housework, chores and non-essential activities. Strange thinking in hindsight. ThisBirthdaybook is more like a look at a Jetson's cartoon than anything remotely in store for the children who received this outlandish birthday booklet. It is in Near Fine Condition with no writing. There is some very light wear from both age and storage, but nothing major at all- simply some light edge wear. The book is clean inside and out with a firm binding and no writing or soiling, no erasures. Made by Gibson greeting cards from their "Story Book Greetings" line, it is undated, but from the early sixties due to the children's clothing styles. NO INTERNATIONAL SALES. U.S. Shipping is $4.99 for USPS Media Mail.
