Description: WWII Era US Military Mess Kit w/ utensils and case included. This was a mess kit that was given to my dad as a child to play with. There are small scratches and dings from age in the pan. The pan was used to melt canning wax at one point. It's been cleaned out but there are some traces still on the case for the utensils. There is also some tarnishing on the handle of the pan as well as a spot inside. The knife isn't rusted, it just has something stubborn stuck to it, it was cleaned off after these photos were taken. The mess kit had the wax scrapped out and was then wiped down with a rag. No chemicals or liquids were used to clean.
