The Kelly mine is world-famous for its lustrous, botryoidal Smithsonite with the classic "kelly blue" color that is so coveted among collectors of which this specimen is a great thumbnail example! The piece consists of the main, large, translucent green-blue botryoid along with a small sidecar botryoid. The piece is in perfect condition without any issues. The gorgeous and characteristic kelly blue color makes this excellent, pristine, Kelly Mine Smithsonite stand out in any display. Very few great thumbnails of this material were ever available as most significant examples are of a larger size.
