LE 16000 sets. Giengen an der Brenz. Mama Bear is 32cm and baby bear in wooden cradle is 10cm. Limited Edition of 16,000 - this is #1332 and hand signed on left foot by HANS OTTO STEIFF - great nephew of Margarete Steiff. Hans was company president at time of signing. Hans also signed the cradle. Rare to find this set unused in original box. Box measures 11” x 9.5” x 13” and makes a great display for the pair of bears. The plastic cover is yellowed and cracked so cardboard box just needs cellophane or new plastic cover. Slight water stain on box only - see photos. Bears are jointed mohair and made in West Germany. All hang tags and buttons intact. Steiff Sortiment shows the set value on p 474 to be $225-$400. All International Sales are Final.
