The directional lug placement and the high void ratio improve the soft and loose terrain traction, ensuring the tire's forward motion on versatile terrain surface conditions. The tread design allows the tire to improve its high flotation ability. A better flotation eases the pressure off the driving surface, preventing the tire's traction from loosening up the ground. As a result, the tire prevents the tire from causing soil retention, maintaining the soil quality and its crop-growing capability. The tread design also keeps the footprint clean at all times. The tread elements eliminate mud and rocks from the footprint while the tires are in motion. In this manner, mud cannot pack into the footprint and block the tire's surface contact. On the other hand, rocks cannot lodge between the tread elements and drill into the tread area, causing stone retention. This combination promotes a safer off-road terrain performance. The BKT TR-144 improves the controllability.
