Description: Part of our large copper collection, this vintage colander was purchased in the 1970s and displayed on a shelf in the living room. Although it is culinary grade, we only used it for decoration. Measuring 9" in diameter (about 11" including the handles) and 5.5" tall, the colander features a lovely pedestal base and brass handles. Etched on the bottom is B&M (for Benjamin & Medwin, Inc), DOURO and Made in Korea. There is a lovely age-related patina on the piece given that it is some 50 years old. The original label that was attached next to the handle still has a mark where the Benjamin & Medwin Inc. label use to be. The colander is in good vintage condition. Please note: the copper rim appears to be slightly mis-shapened but that is how it was from the manufacturer. Carefully check all sizes, measurements, pictures and listing details before you bid and/or purchase, as all sales are final and no returns are allowed. Payment is due within 48 hours after close of auction. PayPal is the only payment method accepted. Be advised that parts of the U.S. add surcharges to shipping costs that may not be reflected in the quoted listing price and may require a rate adjustment to complete the transaction.
