Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Rare copy--spiral-bound, softcover church lady cookbook filled with recipes from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, in handwritten style. This church was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. 250 pages, including index. Very minor wear to the covers, and one broken plastic spiral, but there is no writing in the book and it is overall in very good vintage condition. The Episcopal Churches in the South invariably have all the society ladies and quality cooks in town and this is especially true of this famous church. ALL the recipes give the name of the woman who contributed it and it is full many hundreds of family secret recipes. Just the 'Jezebel Sauce' is addictive, the desserts are truly classic Southern. These are "company" dishes in the best Southern tradition. ******* Payment is due within 5 days Please contact me with any questions you might have Thank you!
