Description: New old stock, 1980s vintage Eveready T3857 Flashlights. The units themselves are in perfect condition, complete with the original boxes. Please note that some of the boxes are showing signs of age in varying levels (minor tears or scuffs), however, they still look great. They were made in Hong Kong from the same design from the 50's up until the late 80's. This was a lost batch of 80's production. They would make excellent stage props for anything 1930s-1980s themed given their unchanged, period correct design. Made from chrome plated steel and are of sturdy construction. They feel great in hand with batteries installed. The lense is made from glass (I can also source replacements if necessary). 3-way switch: OFF, SOS/Flash (halfway + button), ON. Slide out hanging hook. Twist-to-focus beam, similar to a Maglite, only more basic. Require three D cell batteries (not included) for operation and use 3.6-4V E10 screw flashlight bulbs. The bulbs themselves are getting harder to find, and the ones in these torches are almost 40 years old and tend to blow after a few minutes of use. Given this, I am including two new spare bulbs with each sale to extend the useful life of these classics. I also have listed LED as well as very rare Halogen E10 bulbs suitable for these on my store. All units are tested to be in 100% working order before shipment.
