Description: Vintage hand tied, Kentucky made string or strip quilt or comforter. It's NOT perfect and does have some fabric wear and tear, blow outs and stains. Still LOTS of good usable fabric and possibly could even be repaired. It's heavy. These were the kind of quilts that were made to keep you warm in the winter. Weighs almost 10 pounds BEFORE packing. Lots of early cotton print fabric scrapes were used to make this one. Hand tied or "tacked" as some call them. Measures 80" x 76"
