Description: This is a hand tied quilt made by my grandmother. The quilt was kept at my mother's house and was kept dry. There are some stains on the material. Two corners on quilt are torn. It would be a good quilt to take apart and re-quilt with new material. Nice weight to the wool, a heavy blanket. The quilt is tattered but the wool in the quilt is from the 1970's. My grandma purchased the wool from a sheep farmer and then took the wool to have it cleaned and carded. I remember her making this quilt. We have 5 quilts from her so I am looking for a good home tor this one. Quilt weighs 5.3 lbs as is. Measures approximately 79 inches by 68 inches.
