Description: ITEM - Vintage Brown Crocodile Alligator Karat Gold Trim Wallet. Wallet is stamped INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA and E.9628 CAIMAN on it. All 3 gold pieces are stamped 18R or 1BR, hard to read the middle figure. I acid tested the gold metal and tests for 10K and lightly for 14K, but there is no gold Karat stamp on it, so thinking it is plated gold. Measurements Width - 3 7/8" Height - 4 1/8" Depth - 1 5/8" Details - 3 Slots for bills and two small pockets on top of them CONDITION - Vintage! Minor wear here and there on edges, main one by the fold parts and possibly some separation there but not sure if made this way to fold properly or not, please see last photo. Some softening in areas and light wear on some of the scale lines. Some marks on interior at bottom of 2 of the bill sections, but minor and some marks behind the flap front above the gold piece, nothing you can see and again minor. The gold shows normal use light scratches, etc but no fade on the latch piece and minor marks on the smaller pieces. I'm just going over it good but is a very much useable wallet and the lighter marks are reflections only and not there. Since no Karat stamps on the gold I am selling as is!
