Description: Vintage Lodge Single Notch #5 #3 Cast Iron Skillets Set 2 Restored & Seasoned Very nice pair of Lodge #5 and #3 skillets with single notch inset heat rings. Made 1930's. Nice set perfect for single person. Single notch pans are earlier than the 3 notch pans and the finishing is a bit nicer. These pans did not have any rust or excessive crusty buildup. I stripped, seasoned and tested these pans, they are great pans, quality American cast iron. #3 measures 6.25 inches in diameter, the #5 measures 8 inches in diameter, see pics for additional measurements. Condition: These skillets are in very good vintage used condition, completely stripped and seasoned (lye method/Crisco), with no damages or cracks and minor wear in the form of utensil marks/scratches inside and carbon staining etc as expected from use, minimal to almost no pitting. They sit dead flat on my glass top, no spin or wobble. Very smooth surfaces. There is one manufacturing blemish on side outer wall #3 pan, common wave line, see pics. This have no effect on the function or the beauty of this pan, the pan is smooth in that area. Please review my photos and ask questions before you buy because I don't accept returns.
