Description: A collection of four Japanese porcelain plates by Shojiro Nishimura for the Franklin Mint. These are his original artworks and the first to be displayed on porcelain . This vintage set is from 1985 is being offered with original boxes, styrofoam packing and original easels along with the COA for each plate. The COA’s are shows little bit of their age and 1 of them is stuck firmly stuck inside the leaflet that describes the plate. All original boxes are as pictured and show a-bit of their 39 yrs, but over all are in pretty good shape. The Franklin Porcleain's Managing Director at the time was Georffrey A D. Stroud and it is his signature you will see on the COA. It verifies that each plate is surrounded by 24k gold and that the mark on the back of each plate belongs to the artist.
