Description: Works & points in the general direction of North, but unsure how accurate it is. Surprisingly I can’t find a makers mark or country of origin. Has a bit of age about it though & looks c1940s. The outer diameter of the compass is 70mm x 18mm thick. The base has surface wear & scratches, with the leather pouch being in good condition apart from the strap that secures the case, its missing its end section and has only one buckle hole and is very brittle.
